Last night in the French city of Dieppe, the Renault Clio Cup championship for this season was officially concluded, with awards presented to the top drivers across all competitive categories.
Montenegrin racing driver Filip Kunčer made history this year by achieving one of the greatest successes in Montenegrin motorsport. Filip finished the season in seventh place overall in the Renault Clio Cup Europe, competing among 60 drivers. In addition, he claimed championship titles in the Renault Clio Cup Challenger category — both in the European and Central European overall standings.
With these results, Filip confirmed his status as the most successful Montenegrin driver of the season and positioned himself among the most promising competitors in this prestigious championship.
The ceremony in Dieppe brought together the best drivers and teams from across Europe, while Kunčer’s double triumph represents a strong boost for the development of motorsport in Montenegro and a confirmation of the outstanding work of his team throughout the entire season.
As part of the official program today, the drivers will take part in an organized visit to the Renault Alpine factory, where Filip Kunčer will have the opportunity to see firsthand the development and production processes of top-performance sports cars.
"The season was exceptional in every way, full of challenges and many unknown situations, considering that I raced on each track for the first time this season. In the end, it all resulted in great success. I am extremely satisfied with what has been achieved and grateful to everyone who was part of this journey," said Filip Kunčer after the award ceremony in Dieppe.

Two races, two podiums, and a constant fight for the win

He demonstrated that he has the knowledge and skill to compete at the very top, which is also his clear objective for this season

I expect strong competitors and a solid pace from the very first laps
