Filip Kunčer is a young and extremely promising driver who took his first steps in motorsports in 2019 behind the wheel of his first racing car on mountain tracks. Already in his debut season, he achieved the championship title in the 1150N class. His excellent results immediately placed him among the top youngest drivers in the region.
In the next three seasons, he continued to achieve success behind the wheel of the Peugeot 106, with visible progress, winning new titles and consolidating his position among the best in national and regional championships.
After five extremely successful years competing in national, regional and CEZ championships, Filip is turning to a new goal – moving to the international circuit racing scene and competing in the Renault Clio Cup Eastern Europe championship. In his first appearances on circuit tracks, he leaves a strong impression despite the technical limitations of the vehicle and the lack of optimal team support, and with an excellent sixth place in the competition of 25 drivers, he confirms that he is ready for the biggest European challenges.
The next step in his career was entering the European Renault Clio Cup Championship, where he achieved outstanding results in his first season. Although he appeared on every track for the first time this season, competing in the most prestigious Clio Cup series on the continent, Filip finished the season seventh in the overall Renault Clio Cup Europe standings out of 60 drivers. In addition, he won championship titles in the Renault Clio Cup Challenger category – both in the European and Central European overall standings.
The Podgorica Racing Team auto moto club was founded in early 2012 as a sports club with the aim of participating in and promoting drivers in circuit and hillclimb races.
